Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a highly skilled Structural Inspector to join our team on a major infrastructure project. You will inspect structural elements, verify compliance with drawings and standards, and contribute to safe, quality construction.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of in-field inspection experience, and strong knowledge of codes (ACI, Eurocodes). You will document findings, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and promote rigorous QA/QC on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years structural inspection experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of codes and standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes, local regulations).
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.
• Strong communication and reporting with attention to detail and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations, columns, beams, slabs and walls against drawings and specs.
• Monitor workmanship and material conformity to project requirements and standards.
• Review drawings and check reinforcement installation before concrete placement.
• Identify defects/non-conformances and follow up corrective actions.
• Witness tests such as concrete strength and rebar tests; QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and safety on site.
