Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for Dedrone technology, leading pre-sales engagements and executive-level presentations. You will master networking, Linux, and security concepts to position drone-detection solutions across IT leaders and channel partners.

The role requires travel up to 50% and close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in pre-sales or consulting for SaaS-based products, excellent communication, and strong

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for CIO-level audiences.
• Deep technical understanding of networking (IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, IEEE802.11) and Linux.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Master Dedrone technology to support detection, tracking, identification, analysis, and mitigation of drone threats.
• Lead business and technical presentations to CIOs, channel partner leadership, and technical stakeholders.
• Engage with IT departments and channel partners to understand requirements and position Dedrone solutions.
• Provide first-level technical pre-sales support to accelerate deal momentum.
• Develop and deliver Statements of Work (SOW) for professional services and quotes.
• Coordinate logistics for POC/Pilot processes and tailor test plans to customer objectives.
• Write or improve technical documentation and capture requested features for product management.
• Represent products and brand at industry conferences and events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing.
