Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the Dedrone by Axon initiative. You will become proficient in Dedrone technology, deliver compelling technical and business presentations, and guide customers through discovery, pilots, and commitments.

Remote role with up to 50% travel. Reports to the Director of Sales Engineering. 3–5 years in pre-sales or consulting and SaaS sales experience are required; strong networking and Linux knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) or 5+ years relevant experience.
• 3-5 years customer facing pre-sales or consulting background.
• Experience selling SaaS based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve mastery of all Dedrone technology.
• Lead business and technical presentations to IT departments and executives.
• Engage with CIOs and channel partners to drive technical conversations.
• Set and manage expectations with customers and team members.
• Provide 1st-level technical pre-sales support for opportunities.
• Coordinate POC/Pilot activities and tailor tests to customer needs.
• Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for professional services.
• Represent products and company at field events and industry conferences.
