Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Sales Engineer - BMS, Controls to drive growth by securing AMC contracts, managing major accounts, and leading retrofit and optimization projects for the Building Technology and Solutions division.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will collaborate with pre-sales, develop techno-commercial proposals, and build lasting client relationships through digital solution selling and service contracts that expand the installed base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5-7 years in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focusing on Building management systems.
• Proven ability to maintain and expand accounts by generating new business and pull-throughs.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

What you will do

The Senior Sales Engineer - BMS, Controls is a key role contributing to growth and managing major accounts reporting directly to Sales Manager – Controls, UAE.

Based in Abu Dhabi, the role shall emphasize in bringing in business through AMC contracts, Pull through &, retrofit jobs, and control optimization and digital solution selling to drive the growth of business for Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Controls & Digital solutions.

How you will do it

• Compliance: Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliances
• Market Strategy: Differentiate Johnson Controls through market understanding and sales strategies.
• Customer Engagement: Develop solutions for customer challenges using BMS product portfolio.
• Business Development: Focus on AMC contracts, retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling.
• Stakeholder Mapping: Identify strategic accounts to grow business within JCI installed base.
• Collaboration: Work with internal pre-sales teams to create techno-commercial solutions.
• Proposal Preparation: Create technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant experience.
