Job summary

INJAZ in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to major road and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating daily engineering activities, reviewing drawings, and ensuring works meet approved specifications and safety standards.

You will liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, monitor progress, and support planning, cost control, and timely completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in road and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with road construction, utilities, drainage, earthworks, asphalt.
• Experience with UAE construction/contracting projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, drawings, and procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities on road and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, quality, resources, and site activities.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Prepare and follow up on RFIs, inspections, technical documentation, and project reports.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project standards.
• Support project planning, cost control, and timely project completion.
