Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction supervision and management.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings specifications and contract documents.
• Experience with CAD software and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and international construction standards.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Dubai.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Review and approve technical submittals including drawings, calculations and material specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Analyze survey data and engineering submittals to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain project standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges and solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide expert technical advice.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices in civil engineering.
