Job summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Roads to join its Abu Dhabi project team. The role supervises road construction activities across earthworks, pavement layers, asphalt, kerbs, footpaths, paving, road markings and related infrastructure with a strong focus on site supervision and quality control.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Min 10 years of site supervision, inspection, and quality control.
- Experience on road and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of earthworks, pavements, asphalt, kerbs, footpaths, road markings.
- Familiarity with drawings, specifications, method statements (ITPs), and testing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise road construction activities and monitor compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and project requirements.
- Coordinate daily activities across earthworks, subgrades, asphalt works, kerbs, footpaths, paving, and road markings.
- Review contractor shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and technical proposals.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, workmanship, and conformity with project requirements.
- Maintain records of site inspections and progress; participate in coordination meetings.
