Job summary

Confidential is seeking a QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance on road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will implement QA/QC standards, coordinate with clients, consultants, and laboratories, and ensure compliance with the Contract Quality Plan.

You will prepare and review MIR/WIR/ITP/ITR, risk assessments, and method statements while maintaining thorough QA/QC records. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering qualification and have hands-on UAE project experience, with

Qualifications

• Experience implementing QA/QC in road and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of project quality procedures and inspection requirements.
• Strong documentation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC standards and QMS requirements.
• Conduct incoming material, in-process, final, and site inspections.
• Prepare MIR, WIR, ITP, ITR, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Review project codes, specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams, and independent laboratories for inspections and testing.
• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and SORs from clients/consultants.
• Verify and approve inspection requests and checklists prior to consultant submission.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records and documentation.
• Monitor required testing and ensure compliance with project specs and Contractor’s QCP.
• Identify and report non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Support project teams in implementing quality controls and continuous improvements.
• Ensure personnel are aware of applicable quality requirements and procedures.
• Stop and report unsafe or substandard work activities when required.
