Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for stormwater and micro tunneling to supervise major underground infrastructure projects, including trenchless construction, deep shafts, and pipe jacking.

The role requires extensive field leadership, coordination with authorities (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA), adherence to HSE, and hands-on testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of construction and supervision experience in stormwater networks.
• Experience as Resident Engineer on major stormwater/underground projects with trenchless methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision for stormwater networks, micro tunneling, pipelines and shafts.
• Verify works comply with drawings, specs, contracts and standards.
• Monitor micro tunneling drives, pipe jacking, dewatering, and utility/road crossings.
• Review method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, submittals, and procedures.
• Coordinate interfaces among contractors, designers, authorities and clients.
• Track progress vs. program and trigger corrective actions.
