Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for infrastructure and stormwater in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will support the Resident Engineer in day-to-day project operations, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence across the discipline.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years in infrastructure/stormwater projects, and strong English communication. Candidates should be proficient with engineering software and documentation practices.

Qualifications

Proven ability in infrastructure/stormwater projects.
Strong English writing and communication skills.
Proficient with data access, records, reports and relevant software.

Responsibilities

Perform field engineering tasks including constructability reviews and observations.
Ensure QA/QC and that work complies with plans, specs, and standards.
Assist construction staff with technical details and problem solving.
Coordinate solutions and liaise with design engineering teams.
Monitor schedules, progress, and provide reports to the Resident Engineer.
Oversee material procurement, deliveries, and testing/documentation as required.
Enforce safety practices and maintain daily project logs.
Review contractor submissions and supervise site inspection staff.
