Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years of experience in water engineering with strong focus on stormwater drainage design.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and transport infrastructure drainage design.
• Perform detailed analysis of hydrological and hydraulic models.
• Provide technical expertise for drainage systems.
• Deliver hydraulic designs tailored to site-specific requirements.
• Introduce innovative design approaches and digital tools.
• Supervise, mentor, and support drainage engineers.
• Liaise with clients and obtain design approvals.

Skills

Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics principles

Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software including SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS

Experience with Infoworks ICM 1D and 2D modeling

Proficiency in GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation

Advanced mathematical capability for engineering calculations and design verification

Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
