DBB is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support infrastructure, road, and marine projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You will manage cost and commercial activities across the project lifecycle, promoting accurate budgets and sound contract administration.

You will review drawings, prepare cost plans, monitor costs and cash flow, handle variations and final accounts, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with project teams to mitigate commercial risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive senior-level experience on infrastructure, road, and marine projects.
• Experience delivering UAE projects, preferably Dubai/Abu Dhabi.
• Knowledge of cost planning, measurements, bills of quantities, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Familiar with UAE contracts including FIDIC forms.
• Experience with civil infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, marine/coastal.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost-management software; strong reporting skills.
• Professional membership such as RICS is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, BOQs, and tender docs for infra, roads and marine works.
• Review drawings and specs to identify scope, quantities, risks, and cost impacts.
• Manage contract administration: variations, claims, payments, final accounts.
• Monitor costs, cash flow, forecasts, and provide commercial reports.
• Evaluate sub-contractor quotations; negotiate terms and support procurement.
• Measure and value completed work across civil, earthworks, utilities, pavement, drainage, coastal and marine.
• Assist tender prep, bid analysis, contract negotiations, and client/consultant communications.
• Maintain records of notices, correspondence, valuations, and decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial issues and mitigate risks.
• Mentor junior QS and improve processes and reporting.
