Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost planning, commercial management, subcontracts, and financial control for high-value projects in Dubai. You will manage BOQs, variations, and FIDIC contracts to protect the company’s commercial interests and ensure projects stay within budget.

The role requires 8–12+ years of experience, with 4–5+ years in the UAE/GCC market, and strong proficiency in CostX, Candy (CCS), AutoCAD, Excel, and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Commercial Management.
• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience, with 4–5 years in UAE/GCC market.

Responsibilities

• Commercial & Cost Management: prepare pre- and post-contract cost estimates, BOQ, and monthly reports.
• Contract Administration: administer FIDIC contracts, manage contract terms, advise on risk.
• Subcontractor Management: oversee procurement, tender reviews, price comparisons, and awards.
• Variations & Claims: evaluate and settle variation orders, claims, EOT costs, and final accounts.
• Valuations & Cash Flow: prepare IPAs and verify payment certificates, monitor cash flow.
• Auditing & Dispute Resolution: cost audits, risk registers, support for dispute proceedings.
