Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Strong knowledge of measurement, take-off procedures, and BOQ preparation.
• Experience with contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel and QS software; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender docs.
• Review drawings, specs and contracts to establish quantities and costs.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, variations and overall cost performance.
• Review contractor quotations, payment apps and valuations.
• Assess variations, claims and final accounts.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities and works.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, valuations and docs.
• Coordinate commercial matters with project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, contracts and payments.
• Monitor commercial activities for contractual compliance.
