Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd in Dubai seeks a Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Costs to lead site-based post-contract cost management on a major infrastructure project. You will manage progress valuations, claims assessment, financial reporting, earned value analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and final accounts.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years' experience, a relevant degree, and strong skills in cost control, contract administration, and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or related construction discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying on infrastructure projects.
• Site-based post-contract cost management experience.
• Experience leading a commercial team on a major infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, budget control, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based QS and post-contract cost management for a major infrastructure project.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and management summaries.
• Review contractor claims and assess contractual entitlement and cost impact.
• Develop and update cash-flow forecasts and earned value reports.
• Negotiate variation values and settlements using contract requirements.
• Coordinate commercial team members and maintain records for audits.
