Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• MRICS or CIOB is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Proven track record managing costs on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with cost estimating software and MS Project.
• Strong contract administration knowledge (FIDIC/NEC/JCT).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from inception to completion to ensure profitability.
• Prepare BoQs, tender documents, and contract agreements.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements within budgets.
• Monitor progress and mitigate cost overruns or delays.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare interim payments and final accounts accurately.
• Handle variations and claims with financial assessment.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and laws.
• Advise on procurement strategies, risk management.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet objectives.
