Job summary

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor 's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Strong knowledge of construction measurement and quantity take-off procedures.
• Practical experience preparing Bills of Quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Good understanding of contracts, valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying or estimating software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate commercial and contractual records throughout the project lifecycle.

Commercial and Cost Management Scope

The Quantity Surveyor will support financial and commercial control from quantity measurement and estimation through construction valuation and final account preparation. The position requires accurate assessment of completed works, contractor submissions, variations, claims, expenditures, and forecast project costs. Close coordination with engineering, project management, contractor, and consultant teams is required to maintain reliable cost information and ensure commercial activities remain aligned with contractual requirements.
