Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks experienced Quantity Surveyors to work on newly awarded projects across sectors in Dubai. This post-contract role focuses on cost control, re-measurement, interim/final accounts, and monthly reporting.

You will handle variations, contractor claims, provisional sums and insurance/bond management, attending design and commercial meetings as part of a growing team. Applicants should hold a Quantity Surveying degree, have 10+ years post-degree experience, and know CostX

Qualifications

• FIDIC contracts experience preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• 10+ years post-degree experience in contracts & commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for at least 4 years.
• Knowledge of CostX or similar QS software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
• Good English technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Post-contract commercial administration including re-measurement and interim/final accounts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and assess variation/claims.
• Manage provisional sums, prime costs, insurances and bonds.
• Attend design and commercial meetings as required.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract

Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 10 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
