Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on flagship projects across high-rise office and residential sectors. You will oversee contract administration, cost reporting, variations, and final accounts, collaborating with design, project controls, and clients.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, 10+ years post-degree experience, and familiarity with CostX or similar QS software.

Qualifications

• Post-degree quantity surveying experience with emphasis on contract administration.
• Must have a degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for at least 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Commercial contract administration including re-measurement, interim/final accounts, cost reports, variations, claims, and provisional sums.
• Attendance of design and commercial meetings and management of insurances and bonds.

Job DescriptionOverview

Your role

• Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 10 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
