Job summary

AtkinsRéalis are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team on newly awarded UAE projects across sectors and locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high-profile projects in the UAE.

Applicants should hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 10 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management. FIDIC experience, CostX proficiency, and a consultant/client background are essential, with strong English

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential projects.
• Experience with consultant and/or client side for at least 4 years.
• Knowledge of CostX or similar QS software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Post-contract commercial administration including re-measurement and interim/final accounts.
• Assess payment applications and monthly cost reports.
• Manage variations, contractor claims, provisional sums and prime costs.
• Oversee insurances, bonds and nominated sub-contractors.
• Attend design and commercial meetings.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university. Min 10 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management. Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
