Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to manage project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting across major oil & gas projects. The role emphasizes accurate final forecast costs, VOWD, and cost phasing by currency, with strong collaboration across procurement and finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Engineering and 8+ years in cost control within oil & gas, plus familiarity with ACE certification and tools like k-base and @Risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.
• 8+ years of experience in Cost Control for large projects within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Thorough understanding of cost control, cost estimation and budgeting principles.
• Strong experience in executing project cost control, estimating and budgeting activities in oil and gas industry.
• In depth knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and standards with proven ability to apply the standards to cost control and estimation.

Responsibilities

• Review, and be accountable for project cost control, including budgets, commitments, VOWD, forecasting, change control and cost phasing by source currency.
• Provide assurance to Project Management that project final forecast cost and VOWD are accurate.
• Provide commentary and insight on cost performance.
• Support the coordination and consolidation of monthly cost information for the project.
• Prepare Monthly Cost Status Reports and periodic cost information reports to ADNOC.
