Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi seeks a Specialist Project Control/Planning & Cost Engineer to lead project control and cost management for mega Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.

You will develop and monitor integrated schedules, perform earned value analysis, support governance and reporting, and collaborate with the PCM and discipline leads to optimize project performance in safety, quality, schedule and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, with substantial experience (15+ years) in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role on mega Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience is required.
• PMC experiences are required.
• Preferred but not mandatory: PMP, CCP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure baseline schedule follow-up and monitoring with performance reporting and change control.
• Advise on effective planning techniques (earned value, schedule variance, arrive at completion estimates).
• Support program integration, governance, formats, and project controls best practices.
• Develop integrated project schedules reflecting interfaces and contractor durations; assess changes.
• Monitor compliance with contract, procurement, and planning requirements; support reviews and progress reports.
