Senior Project Controls Engineer - Mega Oil & Gas

Job summary

Worley is seeking a Specialist Project Control/Planning & Cost Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead the project controls function. You will perform planning, scheduling, cost control, and earned value management for mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, coordinating with the Project Control Manager and multiple contractors.

The role requires deep knowledge of project control processes, governance, and reporting, with extensive experience in ADNOC projects and EPC/FEED phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience is required.
• PMC experiences are required. FEED & EPC Phases experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain baseline schedule follow-up, monitoring, and performance reporting.
• Provide guidance on earned value, cost and schedule variance, and EAC.
• Develop integrated project schedules reflecting interfaces and durations from multiple contractors.
• Ensure contracts, procurement, planning and scheduling align with company requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with variances and explanations.
