Senior PMC I&C Construction Engineer — Oil & Gas

Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC I&C Construction Engineer to act as the Owner’s representative within the PMC team in Abu Dhabi, overseeing on-site construction for ADNOC projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance across EPC contractors.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and operations, review ITPs, monitor progress, and drive zero-incident execution while upholding ADNOC standards and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years in oil & gas projects.
• 3+ years in a similar PMC/construction role.
• 5+ years in PMC on ADNOC or Middle East projects.
• Experience with large EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M).
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and practices.
• CICPA qualification and UAE work visa eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC contractor I&C construction activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, approved drawings, and IFC deliverables.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE and project teams; manage progress and resources.
• Identify delays and risks; implement mitigation and recovery plans.
• Support project handover, punch list clearance and startup readiness.
