Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks a Construction Specialist to supervise, coordinate and monitor all construction activities performed by EPC contractors, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, project specs, approved drawings, HSE, quality procedures, and schedules. The role acts as the PMC site representative to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality execution of construction works.

The position requires extensive experience in oil and gas construction, strong coordination across FEED/EPC phases,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or related disciplines.
• 10–15 years of pipeline construction experience in oil and gas projects.
• 5+ years in a PMC or client representative role.
• ADNOC Onshore project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction supervision and enforce project schedules.
• Liaise with EPC contractors across FEED/EPC through commissioning and handover.
• Review construction/installation plans for constructability and efficiency.
• Ensure EPC plans meet safety, quality and ADNOC requirements.
• Provide construction input to estimates and bid deliverables.
• Coordinate with Procurement to align materials and equipment with project timelines.
