Job summary

Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Senior Construction Engineer (I&C) to oversee and coordinate site-based mechanical construction activities in Abu Dhabi for ADNOC Gas PMC projects. This full-time role requires robust leadership and a track record in complex O&G deployments.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Control with 15+ years in offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical environments, including GCC experience, and strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Control or equivalent from an accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects (preferred in GCC).
Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate mechanical construction activities to meet project specifications.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements for mechanical systems.
Control costs and schedule for mechanical works to ensure timely delivery.
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients to align works with project goals.
Enforce safety, quality and environmental processes on site.
