Job summary

Wood is seeking a PMC Senior Construction Engineer E&I for the ADNOC Onshore project, based on onshore site in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, budget compliance and adherence to ADNOC standards while supervising EPC contractors on site.

The candidate will lead construction management, project control, QA/QC and HSE, coordinating with engineering, procurement and commissioning teams to deliver complex energy projects within a strong governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of construction experience with 5–7 years in PMC/consultant roles.
• Proven onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or large industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and standards.
• Familiarity with international codes (ACI, BS, ASTM, Eurocodes).
• Experience with scheduling tools and construction reporting systems.
• Strong leadership and site coordination abilities.
• Onshore project site-based role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor onshore mechanical construction works.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules.
• Coordinate daily site activities with EPC contractors, subcontractors and discipline teams.
• Review contractor construction plans, methods, schedules and resources.
• Track progress and report deviations, risks and mitigations to the PMC Construction Manager.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, HSE and commissioning teams for seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and progress updates.
