Job summary

GSSTech Group is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to lead enterprise Oracle DBA efforts across large-scale projects. The role emphasizes RAC, Data Guard for HA/DR, and cloud management on OCI and AWS. Strong automation with Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Groovy, and Terraform is highly valued.

The candidate will support multiple projects, handle high pressure, and participate in out-of-hours activities when required. A bachelor’s degree or higher is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration/Engineering in large enterprises.
• Strong Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, RMAN experience and patching.
• OCI and AWS cloud environments expertise.
• SQL/PLSQL proficiency; Unix/Linux solid foundations.
• Automation with Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform; DevOps mindset.
• Experience in banking/enterprise settings and multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level Oracle DBA support for enterprise platforms.
• Design, implement, maintain highly available Oracle environments.
• Perform advanced SQL tuning and overall performance optimization.
• Administer RAC and Data Guard for HA/DR requirements.
• Manage databases across OCI and AWS; monitor with OEM and RMAN.
• Plan patching, upgrades, migrations with minimal disruption.
