Job summary

D4 Insight in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Senior Technology Engineer – Oracle DBA to join on-site. The role focuses on Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and automation of repetitive DBA tasks using modern tools.

You will work across enterprise projects and support critical operations, with occasional after-hours as required. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Oracle experience, strong RAC/Data Guard/OEM/RMAN expertise, and hands-on skills with OCI and AWS in fast-paced

Qualifications

8+ years of Oracle database engineering experience in large organizations.
Strong knowledge of: Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, OEM, RMAN.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
Unix/Linux environment familiarity.
Scripting in Bash and Python.
Experience with Agile working practices.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle databases, including RAC, Data Guard, and OEM usage.
Manage database operations across OCI and AWS.
Perform backup/recovery with RMAN and monitor using OEM.
Patching and migrations; SQL and database performance tuning.
Automate repetitive DBA tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Groovy.
Support multiple projects and provide after-hours support when required.
