Job summary
AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to lead on-site supervision for large-scale building projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure quality, and manage schedules and budgets while aligning with UAE standards.
The role requires 25+ years in building engineering, with a proven track record in the Middle East, and hands-on BIM coordination to improve project delivery and sustainability.
Qualifications
- 25+ years of professional experience in building engineering.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects in the Middle East.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations and best practices.
- Understanding of BIM coordination and LEED processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise on-site engineering teams to ensure effective construction execution.
- Oversee large-scale building construction works per plans, specs, and schedules.
- Monitor progress and coordinate activities to align with project objectives.
- Provide technical direction to site engineers and resolve construction-related challenges.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication and project performance.
- Support sustainable construction practices and LEED-related activities.
