Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer to support major residential construction projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You will lead construction supervision activities, coordinate multidisciplinary site teams and oversee project delivery in accordance with approved specifications, contractual requirements, schedules and quality standards.

Reporting to the Director of Supervision or Project Director, the successful candidate will oversee AECOM's assigned construction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum 20 years in senior construction supervision/management.
5+ years in a senior technical position; 25 years in complex projects including 10 years in residential.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of assigned construction packages on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contracts.
Monitor progress against milestones and coordinate site inspections.
Administer FIDIC-based or standalone contracts and advise client on engineering and contractual issues.
Lead site team and coordinate multidisciplinary activities.
Ensure safety and quality control across residential developments.
