Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (Site) to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will oversee on-site structural engineering activities, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across construction phases.

You will coordinate with architects, contractors and project management to drive successful outcomes. The role requires a minimum of 12+ years in site-based structural engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of professional structural engineering experience in site-based roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural required.
• Experience overseeing on-site structural work and coordinating with architects, contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site structural inspections and quality control throughout construction phases.
• Analyze structural performance data and field conditions to provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare and review inspection reports, calculations and compliance certifications.
• Supervise on-site structural activities and ensure safety and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with design teams on design modifications and structural implications.
• Manage material testing and verification to meet standards.
• Lead site meetings and communicate findings to stakeholders and project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
