Job summary

Morgan Consulting Engineers in Abu Dhabi seeks a Site Electrical Engineer with 7–12 years of experience to oversee electrical works on-site for complex building projects. The role requires coordination with project managers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery of the electrical scope.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical installations, familiarity with local codes, and proficiency in interpreting drawings and installation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site electrical installations, including power distribution and lighting.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and codes (NEC, NFPA, HTM).
• Conduct site inspections and verify progress and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for compliance.
• Monitor testing and commissioning; enforce safety QA/QC procedures.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and report to project management.
• Attend meetings, site walks and inspections with stakeholders.
• Support handover with punch lists and final testing.
• Ensure work complies with local authorities and environmental/safety standards.
