Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager for high-stakes projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role requires oversight of civil, power plant, and substation initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–10 years of relevant experience, a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, and proven leadership across multidisciplinary teams. Gulf/regional exposure and strong communication will be valued assets.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should possess a degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with additional technical certifications or specialized training related to construction, civil works, power plant operations, or substation projects will have an added advantage.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in civil engineering projects, power plants, or electrical substations.
• Experience in Gulf countries and/or India is highly desirable, indicating familiarity with regional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to diverse project environments and multicultural teams will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site activities, ensuring work aligns with plans and schedules.
• Lead site engineers, technicians, and workers to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Allocate resources effectively including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports, and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
