Job summary

Wood Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee on-site construction activities performed by EPC contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, ADNOC standards, and ITPs while coordinating with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams.

The role requires 15+ years in construction supervision within oil & gas, with at least 5 years on major EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in construction, supervision, or project execution within oil & gas.
• Minimum 5 years in a construction supervision/management role on major EPC oil & gas projects.
• Experience on ADNOC projects or similar major oil & gas operator standards preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, and project handover requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities by EPC contractors and subcontractors across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Ensure activities are performed in accordance with IFC drawings, project specs, ADNOC standards, ITPs, and safety requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity, manpower, equipment, and delivery of milestones.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Support pre-commissioning, handover, and close-out activities with rigorous documentation.
