Job summary

WOODplc is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in Abu Dhabi to oversee large offshore oil and gas projects for high-profile clients. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across complex site activities.

With 20+ years in construction management, you will coordinate contractors, engineers, and clients, driving on-time delivery while adopting sustainable practices for energy transition initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent level of site experience in a senior role.
• Professional Engineer accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of previous Construction management experience on large oil and gas Offshore development projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for project execution.
• Monitor expenses, prevent overspending, and ensure financial efficiency throughout the project.
• Maintain high construction standards, adhere to regulations, and conduct regular inspections.
• Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure workplace safety.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project goals and expectations.
• Implement eco-friendly practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
