Job summary

Worley in the UAE is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to lead on-site construction activities for major offshore and onshore projects. You will coordinate with client teams to ensure fabrication and installation work meets specifications and schedules.

You will support Project Engineers, chair constructability reviews, manage workpacks, and drive HSSE compliance while delivering safe, efficient execution in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
• Minimum 5+ years (preferred) in GCC region.
• At least 3 years in similar roles on international major projects.
• ADNOC project experience is required.
• Offshore experience is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction support ensuring work follows client specs and fit-for-purpose methods.
• Support Project Engineers through all lifecycle phases of the project.
• Ensure work is per plans and expedite review comments on documents/drawings.
• Chair constructability reviews and act as interface with client for fabrication questions.
• Promote HSSE compliance and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client procurement and construction teams.
• Identify and manage tasks in workpacks, including testing requirements and tools.
• Ensure timing of IFC comments and commissioning plans are integrated.
