The ideal candidate will have deep Cisco expertise in Firepower, ASA, ISE, and NAC, with a proven track record in threat prevention and secure remote access.

The role demands 10+ years in network security, strong leadership, and the ability to drive security posture within a complex airline domain.

• 10+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering or Cyber Security.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco security technologies, network segmentation, firewall management, secure remote access, and threat prevention. This role will be responsible for maintaining a robust security posture, ensuring compliance, and supporting business-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Network Security Architecture & Operations

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network security solutions using Cisco security technologies.
• Manage and optimize Cisco Firepower, ASA Firewalls, and related security platforms.
• Develop and maintain network segmentation strategies to protect critical assets and sensitive data.
• Ensure secure connectivity across data centers, remote offices, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Firewall & Access Control Management

• Manage firewall policies, rule-base administration, change management, and security governance.
• Implement and maintain Cisco ISE for Network Access Control (NAC), authentication, authorization, and device compliance.
• Review and optimize firewall configurations to improve performance and security effectiveness.
• Conduct firewall audits and ensure policy compliance with organizational standards.

VPN & Cloud Security

• Configure and maintain VPN solutions to support secure remote access.
• Design and secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Support cloud and hybrid network security initiatives, ensuring secure architecture and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to align security controls across environments.

Threat Prevention & Security Monitoring

• Implement threat prevention technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and traffic inspection capabilities.
• Monitor security events and investigate network security incidents.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering or Cyber Security.
• Strong expertise in Cisco ASA Firewalls and Cisco Firepower.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and NAC solutions.
• Extensive experience in firewall policy management and rule-base optimization.
• Strong understanding of network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies.
• Experience implementing and managing VPN and secure remote access solutions.
• Knowledge of data center security architecture and best practices.
• Experience securing cloud and hybrid network environments.
• Expertise in threat prevention, intrusion detection, and security monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-vendor firewall environments.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud security.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Security principles.
• Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.
