Job summary

Company Name – IT Excellence in Dubai area seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support large-scale LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments. You will configure Cisco switches/routers, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, and manage wireless networks and security policies.

Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years of relevant experience, CCNP or Fortinet NSE preferred, and strong troubleshooting skills using SolarWinds/PRTG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• CCNP Enterprise/Security/Collaboration or Fortinet NSE/FCSS preferred.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale Cisco environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and support Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco ISR routers.
• Troubleshoot MPLS connectivity and Layer 2/3 issues.
• Support enterprise routing and switching with OSPF and BGP.
• Configure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and IPS.
• Administer FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiAuthenticator.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls; experience preferred.
• Maintain wireless infrastructure and guest portals.
• Troubleshoot wireless roaming, performance, and security.
• Administer Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Monitor network performance with SolarWinds and PRTG.
• Perform root cause analysis, firmware upgrades, lifecycle management, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and support Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco ISR routers.
• Troubleshoot MPLS connectivity and Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.
• Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure, including OSPF and BGP.
• Configure and administer Fortinet firewalls, security policies, VPNs, NAT, and IPS.
• Administer FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiAuthenticator.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls; experience is preferred.
• Maintain enterprise wireless infrastructure, access points, wireless controllers, and guest wireless portals.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, roaming, performance, and security issues.
• Administer Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG Network Monitor.

• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards, and change management records.
