Job summary

Noventiq Seven Seas Technology in Dubai seeks a senior network engineer to implement and manage enterprise network and security across multi-site environments. You will design, deploy, and operate routing, switching, firewalls, and NAC solutions to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities include L2/L3 troubleshooting, site surveys, documentation, governance, and collaborating with customers and presales. Travel to client sites across the UAE and after-hours changes may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and security implementation or operations.
• Proven delivery experience in multi-site / branch environments.
• Strong working knowledge: TCP/IP, OSI model, NAT, DHCP, DNS, HSRP.
• Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, static/default routing.
• Hands-on firewall experience: Cisco ASA/Firepower configuration, NAT, HA/failover, clustering.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting for bandwidth, latency, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues across customer environments.
• Prepare scope of work documents, implementation plans, and activity schedules aligned to customer requirements.
• Produce and maintain HLD/LLD documents, as-built documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer material.
• Log and manage work through ticketing/CRM platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, or equivalent).
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers during project delivery and mentor junior engineers.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
• Routing & Switching — Cisco routers, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki MS, Aruba switches.
• Firewalls / NGFW — Cisco Firepower (FTD), Cisco Meraki MX, ASA; exposure to checkpoint, Palo Alto and Fortinet is a plus.
• NAC / AAA — Cisco ISE (PAN/PSN/MNT, PxGrid), 802.1X/MAB wired & wireless, posture policies, TACACS+; Aruba ClearPass exposure is an advantage.

Operations & Support

• Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting for bandwidth, latency, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues across customer environments.
• Perform periodic hardening, configuration backups, and health checks of network and security devices.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendor TAC, NOC teams, and field engineers to drive issues to resolution with minimal supervision.

Documentation & Governance

• Produce and maintain HLD/LLD documents, as-built documentation, runbooks, UAT test plans, and knowledge-transfer material.
• Log and manage work through ticketing/CRM platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, or equivalent).
• Adhere to customer change-control processes and project governance standards.

Team & Customer Engagement

• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers during project delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on implementation best practices.
• Support presales with technical inputs, effort estimation, and proof-of-concept activities when needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent (e.g., BCA, B.Tech).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and security implementation or operations.
• Proven delivery experience in multi-site / branch environments
• Strong working knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, OSI model, NAT, DHCP, DNS, HSRP.
• Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, static/default routing.
• Switching: VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, STP, VTP, LACP.
• VPN technologies: Site-to-Site, policy-based, GRE, DMVPN, IPsec.
• Hands-on firewall experience: Cisco ASA/Firepower configuration, NAT, HA/failover, clustering.
• Hands-on NAC experience: Cisco ISE deployment (standalone/distributed), Dot1x/MAB policy creation, posture, TACACS+.
• Familiarity with monitoring/management tools
• Working knowledge of cloud Networking is a plus

Certifications
