Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Network Engineer to join our Technical Support team, focused on providing on-site and remote post-sales services for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) customers. The role demands deep hands-on experience and technical certifications across leading network and security platforms.

You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-level network infrastructures, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls. This role ensures optimal network performance, system reliability, and seamless service delivery, all aligned with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver post-sales technical support in alignment with SLA agreements.

• Implement data network and ICT solutions in collaboration with customers, vendors, and partners.

• Monitor and maintain enterprise networking hardware and applications at client sites.

• Conduct advanced diagnostics and performance monitoring of network infrastructure.

• Configure and install routers, wireless controllers (Cisco & Aruba), switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and security updates.

• Manage incident response and coordinate repair or replacement of faulty equipment.

• Handle service requests, preventive maintenance, and health checks.

• Participate in change management activities and project implementations.

• Provide training to customers on deployed systems.

• Ensure project delivery within agreed scope, timeline, cost, and quality standards.

• Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining 24/7 support readiness.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Certified and experienced with Cisco, Aruba, and Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia) Data Networks.

• Hands-on experience installing and supporting routers, switches, wireless controllers, DNS, DHCP, WAN accelerators, and firewalls.

• Expertise in network protocols such as IGMP, IPSEC, VRRP, HSRP, STP, OSPF, QoS, and 802.11 standards.

• In-depth understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.

• Proficient in using network diagnostics, monitoring, and analytics tools.

• Strong incident and problem management skills.

• Proven ability to gather requirements, design solutions, document, configure, and maintain network systems.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science).

• Certifications: Valid CCIE certification is mandatory

• Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data networks, routing & switching, Wi-Fi, security, and firewall solutions.

• Preferred Vendors: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, HP, Alcatel Lucent Enterprise.
