Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a highly experienced Principal Engineer - Mechanical Design for Halcon to lead mechanical design across the product lifecycle for advanced aerospace and defense products.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive robust, manufacturable, high‑performance solutions from concept to production and in‑service support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering required.
• 12+ years of mechanical design experience in aerospace/defense.
• Proficient in CAD, PDM, and engineering analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities across the complete product lifecycle.
• Perform calculations, simulations, design analyses, and evaluations for performance requirements.
• Develop and review design docs, changes, tests, and verifications.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary programs.
