Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Government Affairs Strategy and Operations to lead the operational backbone of the CEMEA Government Affairs Hub. You will shape strategic plans, manage budgets, and drive governance and risk management while coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Communications across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Strategy, or Business Operations.
• Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills.
• Analytical and financial skills including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management across functions and seniority.
• Experience developing dashboards and management routines.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and global partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning, annual operating plans, workforce planning, and execution tracking.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement, and resource management.
• Manage governance, compliance, audit readiness, approvals, and risk management processes.
• Program manage key Government Affairs initiatives, events, sponsorships, and leadership engagements.
• Produce executive-ready analyses, presentations, dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Procurement, and business teams.
• Lead intelligence gathering and reporting on policy, regulatory, geopolitical, and industry developments.
• Develop tools, processes, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions to improve visibility and decision making.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, capability building, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function.
