Job summary

Visa is hiring a Senior Manager, Government Affairs Strategy and Operations to serve as the operational lead for the CEMEA Government Affairs Hub Team. You will strengthen planning, governance, execution, budgeting, and capability building across Government Affairs priorities.

Working with cross-functional partners, you will enable strong execution, resource management, and continuous improvement across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Significant experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Strategy, or Business Operations.
• Strong planning, organizational, project management, and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning, annual operating plans, workforce planning, and execution tracking.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement, and resource management.
• Manage governance, compliance, audit readiness, approvals, and risk management processes.
• Program manage key Government Affairs initiatives, events, sponsorships, and leadership engagements.
• Produce executive ready analyses, presentations, dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Procurement and business teams to support priorities.
• Lead intelligence gathering and reporting on policy, regulatory, geopolitical, and industry developments.
• Develop tools and dashboards to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision making.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, capability building, and knowledge sharing across the Government Affairs team.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function.
