Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a proactive Sales professional to maximize occupancy and revenue. You will maintain knowledge of rates and promotions, monitor market trends, and represent the hotel at trade fairs and events.

You will plan sales trips, build client relationships, respond quickly to inquiries, and support business development with new market segments. A strong hospitality background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field.
• 3–4 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel.
• Experience in sales, client relationships, and hospitality promotions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hotel products, rates, promotions, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and business opportunities.
• Represent the hotel at trade fairs, sales events, and promotional activities.
• Plan and execute sales blitzes, client visits, and sales trips effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly, within 24 hours.
• Identify new market segments and support the Director of Sales in business development.
• Promote a positive hotel image and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maximize hotel occupancy, average room rates, and revenue through proactive selling.
• Maintain accurate sales records, client accounts, leads, and business opportunities.
• Prepare weekly sales call reports, monthly performance reports, and revenue forecasts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets through effective planning and account management.
• Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to support pricing strategies.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts in accordance with hotel rate policies and management approvals.
• Plan and manage sales activities, budgets, and deadlines efficiently.
• Coordinate client site inspections, entertainment, and business meetings.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in hotel operational activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operational standards, and emergency procedures.
• Uphold Rixos Hotels & Resorts values and professional standards.
• Support task force assignments, new hotel openings, and other duties as assigned.
