Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking an Events Manager to lead the events and group sales function, driving revenue and profitability while delivering luxury service. You will manage planning through completion, coordinate with departments and develop a high-performing team.

The role requires leadership, strong client relationships and a track record in achieving revenue targets within a luxury hospitality setting, along with proficiency in Opera and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Sales, Business Administration, or related.
• Minimum 4–5 years in event sales, group management, catering sales, or conference services, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record of achieving event revenue targets and improving lead conversion.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills for a commercially focused service culture.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and client relationship management.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Events Sales team in generating and managing event and group business to hit revenue targets.
• Develop strategies to increase banquet and catering revenue and function-space utilization.
• Evaluate enquiries and ensure proposals, contracts and quotes are prepared professionally.
• Monitor lead conversion, pipeline, and forecasts; address performance gaps to maximize opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, agencies and key accounts.
• Oversee multiple events from confirmation through planning, execution and post-event follow-up.
• Ensure smooth handover between Groups Sales and Events with accurate client requirements.
• Review BEOs, group resumes, rooming lists and VIP arrangements for accuracy and distribution.
• Lead pre-convention and operational meetings coordinating with all departments for seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial guidelines and local regulations.
