Job summary

Allocation Assist DMCC seeks an experienced Consultant Multi-Organ Transplant Surgeon specializing in Liver Transplantation to join a leading UAE healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. You will perform living and deceased donor liver transplants and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance the transplant program.

The role requires 5–10 years post-fellowship experience, fellowship or board certification in transplant surgery, and a strong track record in complex HPB procedures, teaching,

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board-certified general surgeon.
• 5–10 years post-fellowship consultant-level experience.
• Proven liver transplant experience including living and deceased donors.
• Experience in multi-organ transplantation (kidney/pancreas) preferred.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform living and deceased donor liver transplant surgeries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary transplant teams.
• Participate in organ procurement and on-call services.
• Contribute to teaching, research, and program development.
• Manage pre- and post-transplant patient care.
• Quality improvement initiatives.
