Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Transplant Surgeon for the Liver Transplant program in Dubai. You will lead living and deceased donor liver transplantation, organ procurement, and complex hepatobiliary procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years post-fellowship experience, DHA licensing eligibility, and a strong track record in multi-organ transplantation and program development in a high-volume center.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized residency in general surgery.
• Fellowship training in abdominal organ transplant surgery or hepatobiliary surgery.
• Board certification in general surgery; transplant certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform living donor liver transplantation and deceased donor liver transplant procedures.
• Coordinate donor evaluation and recipient selection within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in organ procurement, vascular reconstruction, and perioperative care.
• Provide long-term follow-up and monitor graft function post-transplant.
• Lead program development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
