Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a senior Consultant – Liver Transplant Surgery in Dubai, UAE. The role covers living and deceased donor transplantation, complex hepatobiliary procedures, and multidisciplinary perioperative care for a high‑performing transplant program.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years post‑fellowship experience, board‑certified in General Surgery, with fellowship in Transplant Surgery and expertise in donor procurement and multi‑organ transplantation.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD from a recognized institution.
• Residency in General Surgery with fellowship in Transplant Surgery.
• Board Certification in General Surgery.
• Approximately 5–10 years post-fellowship consultant-level experience.
• Expertise in living and deceased donor liver transplantation and HPB surgery.

Responsibilities

• Lead living donor and deceased donor liver transplant procedures.
• Oversee donor/recipient selection and multidisciplinary transplant care.
• Coordinate perioperative management and postoperative follow-up.
• Collaborate with hepatology, nephrology, anesthesiology, and transplant teams.
• Contribute to transplant program development and quality improvement.
