Job summary

Reed Recruitment Middle East in the UAE is seeking a Manager – Learning & Development for a leading luxury retail group. You will own the learning calendar, develop content, manage delivery teams and deliver store-facing programmes across GCC markets.

The role requires 10–15 years in L&D with leadership experience, GCC multi-market exposure, instructional design capability and a UAE driving license; CPTD/CIPD Level 7 coaching credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience, including 3+ managing an L&D or training team.
• Store or area management experience is preferred.
• Instructional design capability and confident delivery to store managers.
• GCC multi-market experience; UAE driving license.
• Desirable CPTD (ATD) or CIPD Level 7 coaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the annual and quarterly learning calendar for all markets.
• Develop and approve learning content, including leadership programmes.
• Manage the Assistant Manager and Field Trainer; protect field days.
• Run assessment cycles against the competency framework; review IDPs.
• Deliver Store Manager and Store In‑charge development programmes.
• Own store visit governance; report findings store by store and consolidated.
• Coordinate with brand teams on scheduling, nominations, and certification.
• Run regional visit cycles in Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
• Oversee mystery shopping programme and weekly/monthly reporting to track impact.
